Its a horrible horrible title for a pretty good film. One would think this to be a film about an angry teen who goes on to do terrible things, but its actually about a middle-aged Jew in NYC who cooks food at a hole in the wall restaurant. Being a person addicted to reality shows on the Food Network and Bravo, I found this film fascinating. Its not to great in terms of cinematography, with a small handheld microphone visible in many shots, but the story is quite compelling. Sure, the guy can be a total dick, but he cooks from the heart which is what its all about. Its a nice short film, definitely worth a viewing if you have a little time to kill and you occasionally like to watch Gordon Ramseys Kitchen Nightmares. You can’t help but love this guy. This is one of the best films about the everyday people who live in NYC. I would make this one of my first stops the next time I’m in NYC.
